The Shannon Henretty '14 Invitational will be held on Friday, September 8 on the Greenspring campus. Participants will be honoring the life of SU alumna, Shannon Henretty, a nursing graduate from the Class of 2014.
The Stevenson Cross Country teams will host a collegiate level meet beginning at 5:00 p.m. Following the meet, all are welcome to participate in a walk to benefit a Stevenson University scholarship fund honoring Shannon's memory.
SCHEDULE:
- Collegiate Cross Country Meet: 5:00 p.m. (women), 6:00 p.m. (men)
- Shine Like Shannon Walk Registration and Check-in: 6:00-6:30 p.m.
- Shine Like Shannon Walk: 6:45 p.m.
- Awards Ceremony and Shannon Henretty '14 Dedication: 7:30 p.m.
- Ice Cream Social: 7:45 p.m.
Family and friends are working to keep Shannon's legacy alive and vibrant on the Stevenson campuses. To honor her memory, members of the SU community and beyond are raising money to support the Shannon Henretty '14 Scholarship Fund. This scholarship benefits nursing majors with financial need who embody Shannon's passion to serve others.
